I’m not sure if this total meshes 100% with your NatGeo assignment, but I figured you’d at least enjoy the reading! My mom has been a Dr. Weil fan for 10+ years, and introduced me to some of his beliefs. I just really appreciate the fact that he is a medical/scientific “mainstream” DR who doesn’t discount and actual embraces the holistic benefits of what the natural world has to offer.

He’s amazing, and has been on the forefront of practicing medicine with both science and Eastern-medicinal traditions. He’s great! One of his latest projects has been treating people/ailments with mushrooms!
